One World One Beat: Scotland
Edinburgh's Royal Highland Centre at Ingliston was alive with
world song and dance when 3,000 Rainbows, Brownies and Guides
from all over Scotland attended One World One Beat to celebrate
World Thinking Day.
The girls took part in a series of fun, energetic and
educational performing arts workshops including street theatre,
didgeridoos and active rhythmology. In an evening grand finale the
girls danced, performed their Street Theatre, sang, and took part
in a Body Percussion performance.
Live video link ups took place across the UK so that girls
taking part in nine One World One Beat events were able to interact
and communicate with each other. View the
video footage of the link up and the regional events.
