Catch The Moment
Wanted! A moment in time to last forever. Can
you capture your Centenary celebrations on film?
Girlguiding UK's Centenary Photography competition Catch the
Moment, sponsored by Jessop's - offers members the chance to win
£500 in Jessop's vouchers and see their photo in print on the cover
of guiding magazine.
To take part you need to take a photo or 30 second film of a
Centenary Celebration between 5 September 2009 and 20 October 2010
and submit the images it to our Flickr Catch the Moment group. You
have until 20 November 2010 to submit your photos.

We would like as many members to take part as possible even the
youngest Rainbows! There are six Catch the Moment categories
and entry into a category is based on the age of the member,
at the time that they took the photo. There is also a 30 second
film category which is open to all ages. Each category
winner will receive £250 in Jessop's vouchers and a photo
shoot for you and your guiding friends to become the 'cover girls'
for Girlguiding UK in 2011.
Each photo needs to be submitted with the following
information:
- The name of your photo.
- A short description of the Centenary Moment captured (no more
than 150 words.)
- Your Country or Region.
- The name of your unit.
- The date of birth of the photographer.
- The date the photo was taken.
- Photo permission has been obtained for all children under 16 in
the photos and is held by a Girlguiding UK leader and is held by
XXname of Leader.
