Budding photographers wanted! Girlguiding UK is running two photography projects in order to creatively record the fun and celebrations of our Centenary year.

Girlguiding UK has almost 600 000 members – what do we look like in our 100th birthday year?

Anyone in Girlguiding UK can take part in this special Centenary project. We want to gather as many head and shoulder photos of girl members from each section. We would like photographs of girl members taken by girl members, to help us create a visual representation of our membership in our Centenary year. We will be collecting these images via our brand new Flickr group over the coming year and your photos may appear in Centenary publications such as the Centenary Launch Party DVD or future Girlguiding UK resources.

Catch the moment competition - sponsored by Jessops

We’re looking for your top Centenary moment of fun and laughter - still photographs or 30 second videos that really capture your Centenary Celebrations! The competition will start in September 2009 and run until the Centenary Finale (20:10 20/10 2010).
