One World One Beat: Cymru (Wales)

Over 1,000 guiding members from across Wales tried their hand at a range of imaginative activities for the first time when they converged on Bridgend for Girlguiding UK’s One World One Beat event – part of World Thinking Day.

Girls and young women from across Wales gathered for a weekend of stunning workshops aimed at giving guiding members the chance to explore the world through the themes of dance, drama, music and arts.

Using satellite technology all nine of the One World One Beat events linked together so members were able to join live broadcasts and reports from the other venues.
