Countdown to the Great Guide Getaway to Switzerland!

Today, 650 Guides and adult members will be embarking on the trip of a lifetime, to celebrate our Centenary on their Great Guide Getaway to Switzerland.

During the week-long trip the groups, who will be based 5 different venues in the Bernese Oberland, will really be taking over the region in style! 

They will have the chance to spend a day exploring the WAGGGS World Centre, Our Chalet, as well as trying out a whole host of adventurous activities, including snow-shoe hiking, igloo building, indoor ice-skating and a snow Olympics. Participants will also visit the Ice Palace and take in the views from the the top of the Jungfraujoch – often dubbed “the Top of Europe”; sure to be a magical ‘mountain-top’ moment!
