What is Fusion?
Taking place on Wednesday, 4 August
2010, Fusion - The spectacular way to celebrate the Centenary, is a
unique opportunity for thousands of Girlguiding UK members from
across all sections to take part in the biggest event for all
sections ever organised by Girlguiding UK, and enjoy a festival
celebrating the best in performing arts from home and abroad in the
beautiful outdoor surroundings of Harewood House, North
Yorkshire.
Fusion is a one day, non residential event featuring performances
and workshops from hundreds of professional street theatre
performers scattered all over the Harewood House estate, an
interactive installation telling the story of guiding, plus some
very special moments to share during the day…and you can perform
too!
The festival fun starts from the moment you step off your coaches,
with lots to discover all around the site. With so many performers
and activities on offer we defy anyone to get round them all! And
that’s not all – we have got some top secret surprises during the
day that everyone will be able to participate in.
Harewood House will be closed to the public on the day so will
offer a secure space for girls to explore in small groups and enjoy
the entertainment and activities on offer.
Who can go?
Fusion is open to Rainbows, Brownies and
Guides with their Leaders and Senior Section members with or
without their Leaders.
We welcome adult groups to come and be part of our volunteer
staff.

How much does it cost?
Tickets for Fusion are only £25 each.

How do I get
there?
Getting to Fusion is really easy, and if you’re
coming by public transport we will be running a shuttle bus to/from
Leeds train station and Leeds/Bradford Airport. Check the Location and map page for more details.
