What is it?
Crew Wanted! - Girlguiding UK are looking for members to crew the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s STS Lord Nelson around the British Isles during the summer of 2010! Steer the 65-metre ship. Furl and unfurl 1200 metres of sail, all without needing to know how to sail. Find out more about the Jubilee Sailing Trust.

Who can go?
Members aged 14 - 64.

Where is it?
Circumnavigation of the British Isles, starting in Glasgow, with crew changes at the following ports: Oban, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Boston, London, Portsmouth, Falmouth, Milford Haven, Whitehaven and finishing in Glasgow.

When is it?
Starting in June 2010, there will be ten voyages each lasting around ten days. Check Sailing route details for more information about dates.

What else do I need to know?
Anyone with a learning disability who would like to join as voyage crew will need to be assessed by the Jubilee Sailing Trust’s permanent crew on board the ship before booking. If this applies to you, apply as normal and the office will make arrangements for you to have an assessment before your application is taken forward.
