Brownie Sleepover

Planning on bringing Brownies to Fusion? Bookings are still available, so why not join in the Centenary Camp Brownie Sleepover?

Now Brownies too can camp like they’ve never camped before, by joining Girlguiding UK’s largest ever Guide camp for one night in August 2010 as part of their Fusion visit.

Tag an overnight adventure onto your Fusion day and share a truly international experience with thousands of Guides and Girl Scouts from right across the world. You’ll be able to experience Girlguiding UK’s spectacular open air performing arts festival, Fusion, and share in the unique atmosphere of a mass Brownie sleepover.

Your stay will include:

  • A sleepover place at the Centenary Camp, Harewood House in North Yorkshire, on either Tuesday 3 or Wednesday 4 August, 2010
  • A special Brownies sleep zone and a special edition Centenary Camp tent which Brownie groups will then take home with them afterwards
  • An exciting evening entertainment programme involving International activities and music
  • An evening meal and breakfast, with an option order and prepay packed lunches for your group

If you have already applied for tickets for Fusion, then add on the Fusion Brownie sleepover option for £37 per head extra.  If you need Fusion tickets, then book the with-ticket option for £62 per head.

Remember – only Brownie groups booked into the Sleepover will be able to visit the Centenary Camp, share the atmosphere, facilities and camp shops with the Guides. It’s a great way to find out about being a Guide and learning about the international guiding family.

Bookings, which will be separate to the Fusion ticketing, will be taken for groups of one Leader and four Brownies as a minimum size. To help with Camp logistics the preferred group size is 2 Leaders and 8 Brownies but groups of different sizes can be accommodated providing the group has a minimum of 4 Brownies with 1 adult. Groups can be made up of Brownies from more than one unit e.g. from a across a District.

Please note that Centenary Camp tents will accommodate between 3-5 Brownies. Brownie Leaders do not require a residential or overnight qualification.

How much will it cost?
  • Price including Fusion tickets booked on Sleepover application - £62 per person
  • Price for Sleepover only (for those who’ve already applied for Fusion tickets separately) £37per person
Payment dates
  • Non returnable deposit of £25 per person to be paid with the booking form
  • Non returnable balance of either £37 or £12 per person to be paid by March 31, 2010
