Guides Celebrate
The Centenary year is a year long celebration of 100 years of
guiding.
It’s been 100 years since the rally at Crystal Palace where several
small groups of girls approached Lord Baden–Powell and asked for
‘something like the Scouts’ but for girls only.
During our Centenary year, Guides are spoilt
for choice with a host of events and holidays designed just for
them. A chance for you to have more fun than ever before! Check out
some of the event reports and blogs from Centenary adventures that have taken
place already.
Did you go to a One World One Beat event? See
if you can spot yourself in one of the
Roving Reporter videos or in one of the many Region
photo galleries
Our Centenary is well underway but there are still lots of
exciting ways for you to get involved!
Are you a Guide Leader?
If you're looking for something to do at your unit meetings
then don't forget about

and
Adventure 100.
However you celebrate make sure you take your camera with
you so you can enter Catch the Moment -
our Centenary photo competition.
Ideas and information about Vision (the Centenary Finale) are on
the Vision section of the website - take a
look, we want everyone to be involved!
