Brownies Celebrate

The Centenary is a special year to celebrate Girlguiding UK’s 100th birthday. Yep, 100 years of guiding!

Your Leaders will be talking to you about what things you would like to do to celebrate the Centenary year between September 2009 and October 2010.

Brownies will find a heap of exciting events to take part in during the Centenary year.

The Big Brownie Takeover is a great chance for Brownies everywhere to show the world how large, dynamic and vibrant guiding is!

Brownies can take over PGL adventure centres across the UK as well as in Belgium, where you can visit mini Europe and the Popsland theme park.

 Or why not take over a Girlguiding UK Training and Activity Centre (TAC) such as Netherurd or Great Hautbois House for fun activities and games?

The One World One Beat world music and dance event  and Fusion – the spectacular way to celebrate our Centenary are also some fantastic day events Brownies can be a part of to celebrate 100 years of guiding.
