Adults Celebrate

The Centenary is our chance to celebrate the successes and achievements of Girlguiding UK with our members and show to the outside world what a modern, progressive organisation we are!

The vast array of activities and events on offer during our Centenary year ensures that there really is something for everyone! Of course, we are sure that adult Leaders will have just as much fun and enjoyment as the girls and young women in their units when they take part in events and activities with them! Don’t forget that units in your area may be looking for extra Leaders to help on trips – try contacting your local Commissioner or Centenary Champion for more information.

There is also a small selection of Adult Adventures available for Girlguiding UK adult members and members of the Trefoil Guild. Also do remember to look out for further locally-organised opportunities to make the most of this extra-special year.

For adventure seekers the three Charity Challenges provide an opportunity to push yourself to the limits whilst also raising money for the Centenary Fund.

If you like telling stories and listening to them too then take a look at our Story-Gathering project and don't forget about Adventure 100 which is for everyone and can be done as a group or individual.

Don’t forget that all members of Girlguiding UK aged between 14 and 26 are members of the Senior Section and can take part in any of the following events:

However you celebrate make sure you take your camera with you so you can enter Catch the Moment - our Centenary photo competition.
